Educator/Educator Services Professional of the Year

Each December, PTHS’s Educator of the Year and Educator Services Professional of the Year are recognized for their hard work and dedication to the school. This year, Mrs. Lipari and Ms. Blau received these awards. 

Mrs. Lipari is one of PTHS’s wonderful business teachers. She teaches a few different classes, such as CBIT, Hospitality Management, and Visual and Fashion Merchandising. All of these classes prepare students for their future and allow them to express their creativity and interests, which is what makes these electives so fun and exciting. Also, she is in charge of Yearbook Club and her hard work is displayed by the wonderful book that is created each year. Mrs. Lipari’s positive attitude and caring personality are just two of the things that make her such an amazing teacher.

Ms. Blau became a guidance counselor at PTHS last year after interning with the guidance department during the 2021-2022 school year. This year, she also became the advisor for the National Honors Society. She is always there for every student at PTHS and is incredibly helpful when it comes to choosing classes to take, questions about college or the future, and any other concerns students may have. Ms. Blau’s kindness and encouragement helps ease the stress of many students and motivates them to persevere, especially since they always know they have a safe place to go when they need it. 

PTHS is so thankful and lucky to have these two incredible staff members, and we appreciate all that they do to make our school great!
