PTHS had its first Pep Rally of the year on October 5th. Students eagerly gathered in the gym, decked out in their class colors. Freshmen, donning white, were eager to show upperclassmen their pride. Sophomores, in gold, brought their “A” game to a competitive knockout match. Juniors, in blue, were the loudest crowd in the gym. Seniors, dressed in purple and black, led the pep rally, making it one of the most memorable. Teachers Mr. Honig and Ms. Crocco were crowned homecoming king and queen, driving the crowd wild.
The Nocktaves joined the festivities, performing Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and the National Anthem. The pep rally concluded with a knockout basketball game where all grades competed. Freshmen surprised the whole school, winning the first round against the seniors. They advanced to the second round against the sophomores, but the sophomores ultimately secured the win. In the final round, sophomores Jack Picardo, Ryan Hayzler, and Dylan Roemmele led their class to victory.
The following week featured the infamous homecoming game against rivals Kinnelon, ending in victory with a score of 28-21. Homecoming king and queen were Mikey Horgan and Abby Goll.
